Cream of Galloway Run

If you like ice cream this was the run for you with a visit to an Ice cream factory.

Organisers - Freebird & Wheelie Girl.

Meeting Point Galston Co-op 10.15 for 10.30 depart.

Lunch-Soup and Sandwiches with Tea or Coffee included £6.00 per head.

Tour-‘The ice cream tasting experience’: an explanation of our commercial production, together with stories about how the business came about, and how flavours were decided upon etc. This session would include the opportunity to taste a selection of our luxury ice creams & frozen yogurts.
The group discounted cost would be £5 per person. The session would last for 60 minutes.

After the tour we can see the other attractions of the Park and sample whichever flavour of Ice Cream you will have decided is your favourite.

Having buckled to pressure by the Queen of Ices (Mrs Peel) this run will be around some of Galloway's finest roads, avoiding the A75 as much as possible and perhaps going through the Galloway Forest Park, highlight of the day will be a visit to the Cream O Galloway Farm / Visitor Centre where we can take a tour and have Lunch. In order to maximise the time we have at the Cream O Galloway Farm, it may be necessary to use some of the roads we used earlier in the year, although every possibility will be made to avoid this.
This Run would also appeal to some of our junior members and they would be most welcome to join us.
